Frankfort, KY – Today, Americans for Prosperity-Kentucky (AFP-KY) announced its endorsements for incumbent Rep. Marianne Proctor for the 60th District seat of the Kentucky House of Representatives and candidate Aaron Reed for the 7th District seat of the Kentucky Senate.
Heather LeMire, AFP-KY State Director, issued the following statement:
“At a time when Kentuckians are facing unprecedented inflation, AFP-KY is proud to endorse two policy champions for the Kentucky General Assembly.
“Rep. Marianne Proctor is a proven champion of health care reform. Last month, she filed three bills addressing the adverse effects of Certificate of Need (CON) Laws. This legislation is a critical first step to the full repeal of CON, and we applaud her commitment to the people of Kentucky and the choices they deserve in their personal healthcare.
“As a small business owner, Aaron Reed profoundly understands the fiscal issues facing Kentucky. His understanding of the need to simplify our tax system, as well as his support for universal school choice, prove that he is prepared to pass transformational policies that will make Kentucky a better place to live.
